In the Ludhiana area of India, two plans by government departments have been set up side-by-side on the same road in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. On one hand, the Ludhiana Improvement Trust is working to renovate the colony's roads at a cost of approximately 65 million rupees. On the other hand, the O&M branch of Ludhiana Urban Water and Waste Water Management Limited, which is affiliated with the Municipal Corporation, has allocated around 5.694 million rupees for laying new sewer lines and storm drainage.
