On the complaint of a transport operator from Ludhiana, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the Punjab Vigilance Bureau to take a decision within six weeks. The transporter, Amandeep Singh, had alleged that a senior constable posted in the police department in Ludhiana was allegedly demanding bribes every month, harassing him, and failing to take action after his complaint. Amandeep Singh filed a petition in the High Court against the policemen and other people involved.
