A 62-year-old man died after being hit by a Scorpio car, while his wife was seriously injured in Jagraon. Young women who were in the car took her to the hospital and are now engaged in police investigation.

In Jagraon, a 62-year-old man died in a road accident near Gurdwara Bhaura Sahib on the way from Sidhwan Bet to Kishanpura late Wednesday evening. His 58-year-old wife was seriously injured. The accident occurred in the Sidhwan Bet police station area. Jaswant Singh (62), a resident of Sidhwan Bet, was traveling with his wife Gurdeep Kaur (58) on a motorcycle to Gurdwara Bhaura Sahib when a Scorpio car coming from behind hit them.
