Vardhman Group Chairman Digital Arrest Case - Mastermind Captured: A fraud of 7 crores was committed, and the ED team arrested him from Kolkata.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has busted a large international cybercrime syndicate operating under the guise of digital arrests. In connection with the case of extortion of ₹7 crore from SP Oswal, Chairman of Ludhiana-based Vardhman Group, the ED's Jalandhar team took major action and arrested Sohail Akhtar alias Raju from Kolkata. The accused, who was arrested on September 28 under PMLA, has been sent to transit remand by a Kolkata court.
