70% work of Haibowal e-bus depot completed: construction will be finished in a month, preparations for operating 100 electric buses, work on Ghoda Road depot is ongoing.

Preparations are underway to run 100 electric buses in Ludhiana to reduce pollution and improve the public transportation system. For this, two e-bus depots are being set up by the Municipal Corporation at Haibowal and Ghoda Road. About 70% of the work on the Haibowal depot has been completed, and municipal officials claim that its construction will be completed within a month. The Municipal Corporation is planning to construct the e-bus depot in Haibowal in about three months.
