A 24-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in a thread (embroidery) factory located in Fatehgarh Mohalla of Ludhiana. The deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar, who hailed from Bettiah district of Bihar. According to Ramesh Kumar, the owner of this factory named Keshav Embroidery, Amit ended his life by hanging himself from the fan during night shift.
