Ludhiana: A case of theft has come to light at 'Malli Palace' in Haibowal, where an unknown thief stole a purse during his daughter's wedding. The purse contained valuable gold and silver jewelry and more than ₹15,000 in cash. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case of theft against the unidentified accused and started investigation. According to information received, the complainant is Buta Ram (son of Ganga Ram, resident of House No. 170, Diler Nagar, Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana).
