In the Kali Sadak-Nurwala Road area of Ludhiana, people caught and handed over a suspected conman to the police. The accused would call up families after seeing advertisements for missing persons. He would introduce himself as a taxi driver and tell the families that his missing person had been found in Jammu or another state. After this, he would demand taxi fare from them in the name of getting the missing person back to their family.
