In Ludhiana, a 35-year-old man was brutally murdered with sharp weapons (kirch) after being surrounded by assailants due to an old rivalry in Sahnewal. The murder took place on the night of October 1st at around 11 pm. The victim was on his way to Purana Bazaar, Sahnewal, for food as his gas cylinder had run out at home. On the way, he was surrounded by the accused near an Axis Bank ATM, who stabbed him multiple times with kirch and other sharp weapons. After being seriously injured, the man died on the road.
