In Ludhiana, India, an ASI died of a gunshot wound in Sector 80 on Thursday morning. According to the police, the incident is reported to be accidental firing. It is said that he was shot with about 4-5 bullets from his own pistol. The deceased has been identified as ASI Omkar Singh, who was posted as a gunman alongside retired DGP Arpit Shukla. Meanwhile, according to his family, they received a call in the morning informing them that Omkar Singh had fallen while standing and died on the spot.
