Congress intensifies agitation in the Gulzar Singh suicide case: Demands dismissal and arrest of Finance Minister Cheema by burning an effigy in Ludhiana.

On Saturday, the district Congress launched a front against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab regarding the alleged torture and suicide of Dalit man Gulzar Singh in Jagraon. Led by former MLA Jagtar Singh Jagga, a large number of Congress leaders and workers gathered at the bus stand square and staged a strong protest against the Punjab government, burning an effigy of the government. It is alleged that Gulzar was troubled by his son's intoxication.
