In the village of Bains, which falls under the Sarabha Nagar police station in Ludhiana, a young man died during treatment after being seriously injured in an attack by his neighbors with bricks due to a dispute over drunk driving. The deceased, Jaspreet Singh, was battling for his life at the government hospital located in Sector-32, Chandigarh, where he succumbed to his injuries. Following the young man's death, the victim's family has filed a FIR with the police, seeking justice and an investigation into the murder (Section 103 BNS).
