A young man's body was found in the Ludhiana area of India during an NHAI rainwater harvesting project: his tongue was out, and it was removed after corporation employees struggled to do so.

A shocking incident occurred in the Dhandari area on the Ludhiana-Delhi National Highway (NHAI) when an unidentified young man's body was found inside a rainwater harvesting system. The Sahnewal police station received information about the incident in the morning, and a police team immediately arrived at the scene. Since the body was located in the pit of the harvesting system, it posed a significant challenge to retrieve it. Subsequently, municipal corporation employees were called in, and with their assistance, the body was removed from the pit.
