In Ludhiana, a man was attacked and injured by some individuals with kirpans near a liquor vend located between the villages of Seeda and Mangat at around 10:30 pm last night. The incident occurred over a monetary transaction. Rajinder Kaur, the victim's sister, alleged that her brother Veer Davinder Singh was fatally assaulted by the attackers. It is also alleged that the accused fled after throwing Davinder on the roadside in an injured state. In the attack, the young man sustained injuries to his hand and leg bones, as well as his fingers.
