On Wednesday morning, a collision occurred between a PRTC bus and a truck on the Ludhiana-Dora National Highway. The accident resulted in the death of bus conductor Sukhpal Singh (35), who was a resident of Makhu in Firozpur. Three passengers on the bus were also injured. The delayed arrival of road safety forces, ambulances, and police after the accident led to resentment among PRTC employees and local residents. Angered people protested on the road, causing a long traffic jam on the National Highway.
