Ruckus over the contract for the Dussehra fair: Contractors allege collusion, SDM claims he arrived after the scheduled time, yet still received a letter.

A major commotion erupted in Ludhiana on Wednesday regarding the contract for the Dussehra fair held at a government college. Approximately 15 contractors, who had arrived from different cities and districts, alleged that the fair's contract has been awarded to the same person for the past three years. They claimed that this time too, there is an attempt to benefit him through collusion. The contractors stated that they are ready to bid and have also prepared demand drafts of approximately 3 million rupees.
