Voter list verification expedited in Ludhiana: Review of SIR-2026, instructions to EROs to resolve complaints promptly.

In Punjab, the Election Commission's monitoring has been increased in Ludhiana regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) of the voter list. Electoral Roll Observers who arrived in the district reviewed the revision work of the voter list by holding a meeting at the Bachat Bhawan. In the meeting, MLAs and representatives of recognized political parties also raised issues and suggestions related to voters. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Himanshu Jain IAS.
