Action taken on information regarding cattle smuggling in Ludhiana: Accused fled after abandoning the pickup truck loaded with cows; suspected of bringing them from Jammu and Kashmir, vehicle seized.

Gurpreet Singh, the national president of the Sanyukt Gau Raksha Dal, which is working against the smuggling of cattle in Ludhiana, has filed a complaint with the police and registered a case. According to the complaint, on September 10, he was traveling to Ladowal side with his companion Manik Goyal for personal work when they received information that four cows were being loaded into a white Mahindra pickup (number HP37G-5215) and taken to Jammu and Kashmir for slaughtering purposes.
