Two vehicles loaded with cattle were seized in Jalandhar: one driver arrested, VHP accused, and the car of a local councilor. Police have started an investigation.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has apprehended two vehicles involved in the illegal smuggling of cattle near Jalandhar's Pathankot bypass. These vehicles were being transported from near Ludhiana to Pathankot and Jammu. During the operation, police seized the vehicles and took one driver into custody. Meanwhile, legal action is being taken against Bunty Councilor (counselor), the main smuggler involved in the case. A Gaurakshak team caught the vehicle at night.
