Ludhiana jewelry shop chain theft case: Police traced driver using auto number plate; accused confessed to the first-time theft, stating they needed money.

The police have arrested a woman for allegedly stealing a gold chain weighing approximately 6 grams from a jewelry shop under Model Town police station in Ludhiana. The accused has been identified as Manpreet Kaur, a resident of village Kishangarh near Gurudwara Sahib, Khanna, and is currently residing at Lakhwinder Kaur's house near the Jain temple on Dhandra Road. According to the police, the complainant, Rohit Bhasin, a resident of 1118-B, Kanchan Colony, Pakhowal Road, filed a complaint against her.
