Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange has ended his hunger strike, which had been ongoing since August 29th, after 20 days. He has given the Maharashtra government three months to consider his demands. Jarange was demanding that Marathas be granted reservation in the OBC quota based on their Kunbi lineage. He began his hunger strike from Antarwali Sarati in Jalna on August 29th. After this, he decided to return to Mumbai on September 15th as his demands were not met.
