Manoj Jarange ended his hunger strike after 20 days, giving the Maharashtra government a 3-month deadline to fulfill his demand for Maratha reservation.

Maratha activist Manoj Jarange ended his 20-day hunger strike on Thursday. He has given the Maharashtra government 90 days to consider his demands. Jarange stated that if his demands are not met, he will resume protests in Mumbai. Jarange had begun his hunger strike from Antarwali Sarati in Jalna on August 29th. He was demanding reservation for Marathas in the OBC quota based on their Kunbi lineage.
