33 years on, metal shrapnel removed from face of man injured in 1993 serial blasts
A 57-year-old man injured during the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, which killed over 250 people, had metal shrapnel removed from his face after 33 years. The piece was discovered when Mohite underwent an MRI scan and doctors found a 6mm metal object near his lips, which had been present since he was injured in the blast.
