The incident resulted in the deaths of seven people and injuries to seven others, while there are suspicions that 3-4 more individuals may be trapped under the rubble. Rescue teams are searching for victims using victim-detection cameras. The lane is extremely narrow, making it difficult for heavy machinery to reach the spot. The debris is being initially broken down with a wrecker, and then manually removed using buckets, which has been causing difficulties in accessing the area.
