From cultivation to sale, Maha targets entire drug supply chain

Maharashtra is implementing a multi-departmental strategy to combat drug trafficking, covering cultivation, manufacture, transportation, distribution, and sale. The initiative involves nearly a dozen government departments under an "Whole-of-Government Approach," aiming to make the state drug-free by 2029 through coordinated efforts including enhanced surveillance, stricter chemical controls, and awareness programs.
