In Amritsar, a brother broke his own sister's leg by hitting her with an iron rod. He arrived in a car and struck the rod 12 times in just 15 seconds. The brother was enraged that his sister had come from Mumbai to her in-laws' house in Amritsar but didn't stay at his home, instead going to his elder brother's place. After this, she started returning directly to Mumbai. His father was also present during the attack, but he was not seen stopping the accused son. The sister has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
