Brother and sister arrested for cheating people of 10,000 rupees: They were committing fraud in the name of getting houses through the PM Awas Yojana.

The Jajmau police have arrested a brother-sister duo for cheating people in the name of providing them with houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The accused had defrauded several people by issuing fake allotment letters and possession letters. Non-bailable warrants were issued against the accused, and a reward of ₹10,000 each was announced for their arrest. The Jajmau police team, with the help of the surveillance team, arrested the accused from Noida and sent them to jail. ACP Ashutosh S had issued the fake allotment letter.
