Fuel and electricity will be generated from garbage in Noida: A 100-ton capacity plant is being set up. Plants are already installed in Bulgaria and China, which will work on thermolysis technology.

To address the thousands of tons of garbage generated daily in Noida, the authorities have taken a major decision. In a board meeting, the authority has approved a proposal to install an Integrated Waste-to-Energy and Resource Recovery Plant with a capacity of 100 tons per day at Sector-145 Site-A. This plant will operate on thermolysis-based technology, where different useful products will be prepared through chemical processes instead of burning the garbage.
