The UP BJP has announced all 11 MLC candidates, including 5 Brahmins and 2 Thakurs. Dhruv Tripathi has been fielded from Gorakhpur without joining the BJP.

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has announced its remaining six candidates for the Legislative Council (MLC) elections to be held on 11 seats. These include three graduate and three teacher candidates. Employee leader Harikishore Tiwari has been nominated from the Agra graduate seat. Dhruv Kumar Tripathi has been fielded from the Faizabad-Gorakhpur teacher seat, although he is yet to join the BJP. He is currently an MLC from the Teacher's Party from this same seat. Pramod Mishra has been nominated from the Kashi teacher seat.
