In Bahraich, a woman allegedly hanged herself with the help of a noose at her hotel late on Thursday evening. She was living with her 19-year-old boyfriend for the past few days. The couple had been pretending to be husband and wife since September 22nd. After failing to make any progress throughout the day, the hotel staff knocked on their door on Thursday evening but received no response. Suspecting foul play, they informed the Kotwali police. Following this, the police broke down the door and found both bodies hanging from the noose inside. The woman's body was covered with a dupatta.
