Child dies after being run over by an auto in Gorakhpur: A girl's hand was broken; the father had come home from Noida two days ago to meet his children.

In Gorakhpur's Uruwa, a speeding auto-rickshaw ran over two children standing with their family on the roadside. The accident resulted in the death of two-year-old Devansh Pandey and serious injuries to four-month-old Trisha. After the incident, the auto driver fled towards Sikri Ganj with the vehicle. Another person was also injured in the accident. This tragedy occurred near Pipra Pandey village in Uruwa police station area on Thursday morning.
