In Noida, three people were defrauded of ₹21 lakh: they were trapped by the promise of cheap loans and profits, and a case has been registered.
Three separate cases of cyber fraud have been reported in the Noida area of India. A total of ₹21 lakh has been defrauded from three individuals. The victims filed a case at the Cyber Crime Police Station on Wednesday. Ajay, a businessman from Sector-126, was allegedly duped out of ₹5 lakh by bank employees posing as mobile banking app representatives. On July 27th, a young man called him pretending to be a bank employee and sent him a link to download an app. Upon opening the link, the fraudsters gained access to his mobile phone.
