In Noida, three people were defrauded of ₹21 lakh. All three have filed a case at the cybercrime police station on Wednesday. The frauds are of different types. Case 1: Ajay, a businessman residing in Noida Sector 126, was providing information about a mobile banking app on internet media. On July 27, the fraudster called him posing as a bank employee and sent a link to his mobile phone for downloading the banking app. However, the businessman could not understand that he was being asked to download an APK file.
