EV charging stations will be set up at 30 locations in Noida. The authority and UPREV have a 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), allowing for the simultaneous charging of 2 cars and 1 two-wheeler vehicle.

To promote electric vehicles and reduce pollution in the city, the Noida Authority has prepared to install EV charging stations at 30 locations. An MoU was signed between the authority and UP Renewable and EV Charging Infrastructure Ltd. (UPREV) on September 24 for this purpose. The MoU is for a period of 10 years, which may be extended in the future. The entire cost of installing the charging stations will be borne by UPREV.
