In Uttar Pradesh, six people from a family died while on their way to immerse the ashes of their mother. Twenty others were seriously injured. Early Monday morning, the family, who resided in Karauli, Rajasthan, was traveling to the Soronji pilgrimage site with the ashes of their mother, Sua Devi (62), in a Max pickup truck. On the Kasganj-Mathura road, the pickup truck collided head-on with a truck that was ahead of it from behind. The impact was so severe that the front of the pickup truck was completely destroyed, and its bonnet was crushed.
