In Noida, cyber fraudsters have targeted four people using new methods of fraud. They posed as the CEO of a company and asked them to buy gift vouchers on WhatsApp, then lured some with promises of profit in share trading. Cases include total fraud of ₹45 lakh involving withdrawing money from bank accounts and extorting money through online threats. Based on complaints from all the victims, the Cyber Police Station registered a case on Saturday. The CEO's photo was used for the fraud in Sector-10.
