Shamli's disabled daughters selected for the national para-volleyball team: someone won gold in powerlifting, and someone demonstrated their strength in javelin throw.

The differently-abled women players of Shamli have made a name for themselves in the sports arena through their hard work and determination. Five players from the district have been selected for the National Para Volleyball Championship, and now they will showcase their talent on the national stage. These players have won medals in various sports including carrom board, javelin throw, discus throw, shot put, shooting, dart game, and powerlifting. Payal Kashyap of Latifgarh village in Thanabhavan is also participating in the championship.
