I haven't heard my son's voice in a month and a half. He went to Russia from Shamli for studies 5 months ago, and two of his friends are also stranded there.

"I am very worried. My son used to talk to me every day. He would say, 'I'm fine... Mom, how are you?' My son's phone was broken. He said he would borrow someone else's phone and talk. But, from that day until today, his phone hasn't rung." This is what Babita Devi, the mother of Ashu, a young man from Shamli who is stranded in Russia, says. She adds, "I pray every day for my son to return home. I don't want anything else. My heart tells me that my son should be safe."
