Farmers continue their protest in Noida: Villagers from Ladpura are adamant on demanding that 10% of the land be given to them instead of 6%.

In Noida, an indefinite sit-in protest by farmers from Ladpura and surrounding villages continues outside the Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA) office. The farmers are protesting against their main demand for allocation of 10 percent developed residential plots instead of 6 percent. The protesting farmers clearly state that the authority should provide them with fair compensation for their acquired land and allocate plots at a fixed rate.
