The alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old student on a bus traveling from Greater Noida to Delhi has now taken on a political hue. Following the incident, the Samajwadi Party has questioned the government and the police system. Dimple Yadav, the SP MP from Mainpuri, has termed the matter horrific and shameful, targeting the claims of women's safety. The allegation is that on the night of August 4th, the bus driver and conductor took her from Pari Chowk to Kashmiri Gate bus stand.
