Greater Noida will now dispose of 800 tons of garbage daily: A fresh waste processing plant has been launched in Lakhnavali, which will produce compost from wet waste and RDF from dry waste.

The Lakhnavali Fresh Waste Processing Plant in Greater Noida has been operational since Tuesday, managing the daily disposal of garbage generated in the area. The plant was inaugurated by Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar in the presence of ACEO Shreelakshmi VS, ACEO Sumit Yadav, and OSD Girish Kumar Jha. Approximately 800 tons of waste are produced daily from Greater Noida's sectors and villages, which were previously collected at Lakhnavali. The new plant will process both wet and dry waste.
