The accused in the Noida violence case has been granted bail by the High Court, which found that the accused had no specific role in the mob violence.

A single bench of the Allahabad High Court, headed by Justice Avnish Saxena, granted conditional bail to Himanshu Thakur, an accused in a mob violence case registered at Phase-2 police station in Gautam Buddh Nagar. According to the FIR filed on April 15, 2026, a crowd of approximately 450-500 women and men pelted stones and vandalized public and private property in companies and public places in Gautam Buddh Nagar, causing damage to them. The accused was arrested on April 17, 2026.
