In Greater Noida West, a speeding Thar vehicle hit a scooter-riding couple on Monday evening. The accident occurred in the Itera area of Bisrakh police station limits. The impact was so severe that Neeraj (40), who was riding the scooter, sustained serious injuries and died during treatment at the hospital. His wife was also injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment. After the accident, the Thar driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. Police have taken possession of the Thar.
