BIS cracks down on sale of non-standard helmets: Helmets and packaging materials seized in Ghaziabad, LPG regulators also taken into possession.

The Ghaziabad branch of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has taken significant enforcement action in the district with the aim of effectively curbing the misuse of BIS standards. Over three days, BIS teams conducted operations at two different locations in Ghaziabad's Loni and Mohan Nagar. During the operation at a helmet factory in Ghaziabad's Kaloni, 730 helmets and 4,646 packaging materials were seized.
