The notice sent to the student from Gautam Buddha University has been revoked: The student received it for participating in a protest, but now the police have taken it back.

The notice sent by the police to Akshat Tripathi, a student of Gautam Buddha University (GBU) in Greater Noida, has been withdrawn. The student was accused of participating in a protest demonstration organized by a political party and encouraging other students to join it. Through the court of Executive Magistrate III, Greater Noida Commissionerate, Akshat was charged under the Indian Civil Security Code (BISS) on September 4th.
