NHRC action in the case of rape of a minor: Notice to Delhi-Noida Police Commissioner and Mainpuri SP, report sought in 2 weeks.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken suo moto cognizance of the rape case involving a minor girl by a bus driver and conductor in Greater Noida. Considering the matter serious, the commission has issued notices to the police commissioners of Delhi and Gautam Buddh Nagar, as well as the Superintendent of Police of Mainpuri. The NHRC has sought a detailed report from the concerned police officers within two weeks regarding the case, including the current status of the investigation and the actions taken so far.
