The High Court has quashed the NSA detention of student Akriti Chaudhary in connection with the Noida protest case and ordered the District Magistrate to pay her a compensation of ₹5 lakh. The charge was that she incited violence.

In a case related to the Noida labor movement, Delhi University student and social activist Aakriti Chaudhary has received significant relief from the Allahabad High Court. The court has revoked the detention order issued against her under the National Security Act (NSA). Additionally, she has been ordered to be compensated with 5 lakh rupees. This amount is directed to be paid from the salary of Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Rupam. This order was passed on Wednesday.
