Agra Collectorate was on alert throughout the day regarding UGC (University Grants Commission): Police force remained deployed, protesters were stopped outside the city itself.

The Etmadpur area of Agra remained tense throughout Sunday due to the demand for a rollback of UGC's decision. The police and administration were relieved that they had successfully prevented the protesters from leaving the city. However, as a precautionary measure, the police force remained vigilant at the collectorate throughout the day. Approximately 50 police personnel were deployed here. In fact, the protestors were adamant about their demand for a rollback of the UGC decision at the collectorate. They entered the city in tractors and protested against it.
