Noida bus accident: What action has been taken against the driver and owner? The Supreme Court has sought a response from the UP government.

The Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the incident where 9 people died in a fire that broke out on a sleeper bus on the Yamuna Expressway. The court has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh and the Secretary of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, seeking their response. The Supreme Court has asked what action was taken against the driver and owner of the bus after the accident. The matter was heard by a bench comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and KV Vishwanathan.
