Abhiyan Basera-02: 30,000 landless families in the state will get ownership rights to their land.
Preparations have intensified in Bihar to provide shelter to landless families. Under 'Abhiyan Basera-02', the Revenue and Land Reforms Department will hand over settlement certificates (ownership rights of land) to 30,000 identified landless families by November 20th. The department's secretary, Jai Singh, has instructed all DMs regarding this. In the released district-wise target, Muzaffarpur has been allocated a target of 1405 families. This is the highest number of targets after Patna and East Champaran.
